Philippa Bassett, Director
Philippa is one of the founding Directors of Fusion Recruitment. Philippa is responsible for recruiting across all levels of marketing management on the client side to searching for creative, digital and client service roles within integrated marketing and PR agencies.
Philippa started her marketing career as a graduate trainee for a leading financial services company. She then moved across to advertising, progressing to Account Director level. Philippa has worked at some of the most prominent advertising and direct marketing agencies in London, including Grey Advertising, Collett Dickenson & Pearce, Saatchi & Saatchi, Wunderman and WWAV Rapp Collins.
Philippa has also held key senior marketing management positions for leading US and UK organisations where she was a member of the Senior Management team and responsible for driving the business forward.
Philippa brings her specialist marketing and advertising recruitment experience and industry knowledge to assist clients in finding high calibre candidates, and provides first class advice, from briefing stage to final appointment.
Philippa retains her Chartered Marketer status. In addition she is a qualified Business Coach and qualified Business Practitioner in NLP. Philippa has always been interested in personal development and training and is keen to use these skills to further the career of others.
More recently Philippa was elected to become an Ambassador on the SEEDA Women’s Entrepreneur Programme which aims to provide first hand support and encouragement to would be female entrepreneurs.
Outside of work, Philippa likes to keep busy and enjoys keeping fit and dancing whether it is salsa or Latin American. Coming from Wales she is a very passionate supporter of the Welsh Rugby team!
