PR Media Executive – Broadcast PR Agency
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join this high profile broadcast PR consultancy as a Media Executive. The Media Executive will work with the team to sell in stories to journalists and producers across a range of broadcast media including TV, Radio and websites.
The media agency has 5 studios in central London where daily interviews are set up and recorded with expert and celebrity guests in the studios and programme producers at Radio and TV stations. These facilities are free to the journalists but paid for by the agency clients.
The role of the media executive will be to persuade the journalist/producer to take the interviews and rebroadcast them thereby gaining coverage for clients and their brands. The Media team has been recognised as the best in the business by winning the PR Week Best Use of Broadcast Award.
Agency clients span a wide cross section including financial, telecoms, government, charities, PR agencies - so the Media Executive would be in regular contact sourcing the latest news and stories to pitch at the broadcast media. The role is mainly phone based selling in stories, arranging interviews and content to Radio Stations and TV stations. You will have excellent communications skills, both face to face and on the phone.
Salary :£22,000 – £25,000 + Benefits
