Marketing Manager – Publishing – Weybridge
A publishing house that operates nationwide is looking to take on an experienced Marketing Executive or a newly promoted Marketing Manager to work within a team of 4 on a maternity cover for a year long contract.
This company is well recognised for both its book and magazine titles covering a range of interests including military, aviation and transport subjects. With over 10 monthly magazine titles published and large volumes of distribution across the UK this company is a leader in it field.
The offices based between Weybridge and Esher have about 60 staff based on site with a team of 4 in the marketing department. You will work with the other Marketing Manager to increase sales and subscriptions through multi-channel marketing campaigns. With a strong focus on the online sphere this role will need someone who can work within an e-commerce environment and help keep the company’s new website up to date with latest promotions, offers and titles.
Offline marketing will also be integral to this role as inter-publication advertising (cross selling to different readerships) has traditionally be a great source of sales. You will have experience of working with third party design agencies for the digital and print advertising. You must be able work affectively within a team and have strong communication skills as well as being able to work on your own with a good level of autonomy.
Salary :£24,000 – £27,000Location: Weybridge
Contract: 1 year (maternity cover)
