A fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Manager with a proven track record in technology has arisen in this established mainframe and network vendor. Established in 1993 the organisation has built itself an enviable award winning reputation across the mainframe arena. With competitors who are major players in their field, this niche software vendor has been recognised for its contribution to international trade by being awarded the Queens Award for International Trade.
Sales and marketing across the UK and Europe is supported via an established distribution network. The company also has a presence in the US and Canada - and is now keen to further develop the US market. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Business Development Manager to raise the profile of the company both in the UK and Europe and in the US.
As a Marketing Manager you will ideally have a proven track record in the mainframe network or software sectors. An understanding of the issues facing this sector would enable you to pick up the marketing baton and develop a strategy for increasing market share across the EMEA Region and for raising the US profile.
Currently the company uses a mix of marketing media to reach out to its customer base and to target new prospective customers. This includes attending trade shows and Expos- annual industry recognised events in Europe and the US. Leveraging the online opportunities via the website, email marketing, tactical marketing and PR.
Salary :£30,000 – £35,000Location: East Grinstead
